The Crown Palais New Hankyu Kochi

Firstly we arrived on bicycles and at a lot of places you're treated like a leper but here we were shown a safe secure spot to park our bikes just outside reception. Comfy clean room, great bath Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of local delicacies including bonito tataki Short walk to Kochi castle and Hirome markets which is brilliant

Near the castle, Hirome Ichiba (market) and the Sunday market street.

The staff switches us from a smoking room to a non smoking room and were friendly.
